Yup, converted. Marketprice for surplus GT Starlets (the turbo version) are around 190-220k depending on the condition.

The fuel consumption is just a plus with the starlet, the GT version is more geared towards being light and quick. So don't expect values up on the 15-20km per liter mark. But for a car that does mid 15s on the quarter mile in stock form, 13km per liter is actually pretty good.

Safe ra converted providing you don't do the cut-and-weld type of conversion. It has to be an original left hand drive rack and pinion. But since they don't manufacture left hand drive starlets you have to get the steering assembly from surplus Korean cars which are originally left hand drive (Kia/Hyundai). I'm not particularly sure but I think my steering assembly came from an old model Hyundai.

And yes, nihit kaau starlet, labi na katong GT turbo version. Usually when the unit hits the market, it only takes a couple of weeks before it is sold.

I also agree with psyche54 that a brand new unit will give you less headache than getting a surplus unit. If you plan to get a brand new Hyundai, I'd recommend contacting piaosigua. I can personally vouch for this guy
