i agree but it just might depend only on the strict QA implementation and designs they have on their product which distinguishes them from the rest...

DELL is a trend setter in the PC industry long before other companies have ventured in the pc world.. but sometimes, the sorry state and lack of foresight coupled with internal bickerings have made the company weak to other laptop/pc competitors out there...

I say DELL latitude, or ASUS i have an Asus A8 still alive today.

I am using MSI ex460 and DELL latitude e6410. I use the MSI at home and the DELL at school because I think the DELL is more durable to carry around because its made of metal but I've been using the MSI for almost a year not a single problem. I think MSI has almost the same quality as ASUS.

I bought an Hp dv2800 artist edition died a week after warranty expired, but before that it has heat problems its gets very very hot.

I also have a compaq before under HP, died before 6 months, warranty claims are a headache so i just threw it to the garbage.
