para nako theres no other place like cebu... imagine in cebu almost all of the things are accessible like the beaches(1-2hrs ra travel time), great place, great people og nindot pa gyd og historical background and many more kapoi na suwat.. dont even try or dont try to under estimate cebu cause cebu has plenty to offer but you dont bother to explore or to grab it.. the next time your foreigner friend ask you about cebu theres only one thing you should say! I LOVE CEBU!!! and hell yeah that explains all ...

Hahahaa laugh at yourself... mas poor guy ka... u dont know what benchmarking is. So how should one be improving without envisioning to become like one? Go with the flow lang? Mao na walay maachieve kay walay giset na goal. Ingon ana guro ka... Hehheee

We ought to be comparing ourselves with those countries because we are competing with them. I'm not sure what he was complaining about, but many of the problems that beset Cebu in fact do not exist in other countries. The three major problems we have are: 1) Poor transport infrastructure (jeepneys suck, taxi drivers piss off tourists and piers are dirty) 2) Badly preserved historic buildings (most are in a sorry state of disrepair and don't even have proper toilet facilities 3) One dimensionality - we rely mostly on private beaches to attract tourists, so most of the tourist dollars go to Shangri-la and Plantation Bay. Since most tourists don't bother coming to the city, the main beneficiaries of tourist arrivals are the resorts and not local businesses.

Too bad, it's so easy for u to pass judgment. You are really sick!
For sure, you dont know my circumstances... and yet you are ready to fill them in with your facts.

I pity you bcoz you have such a sick perception of how and what things are. You are failing to accept the very glaring fact that Cebu is deficient. You can defend Cebu all you what.

For Cebu or Phils to progress is to wake up people like you!

These have nothing to do with tourists, though.
