bro, murag as early as 8 weeks maka impregnate na daw sila, mao gani daw the males need to be weaned and separated by then.
pero they shouldnt be bred til mga 4 or 5 months.
aw, how old na diay siya pag kuha nimo? bitaw, murag cute kaayo mag handle2x ug sapoton nga hedgie.pero maanad ra cguro na after a bit.
Haha, thanks bro... yes, i would like to create a banner for our group, pag mejo luag2x na sa time.
Yes, I've read about Spikey's problem... btw to Ms. eeennnaaa, warm welcome to our group and also to our new thread. Hope to see you on our EB, when you're free.
Note: If your only problem are mites, then no need to go to the vet... just buy the Revolution for dogs, and put a single drop on its shoulder blades (like you do to your dogs) then wait for about a week, then it should be clear. [pls take note on the bolded words.]
Do not use ivermectin, please it's too dangerous.
Thanks bro, please do take care of Sam for us, and hopefully we will see you on our next EB meeting.Good luck!
We are glad to have you onboard bro, hopefully you'll stick around... also if you got time, we will be very happy to see you on our next EB.
As early as 2 months, you should separate the males from females na para walay unexpected pregnancy. Take note if ang female hedge napregnant when she is still around 2-4 months old, pag expect nga naa nay permanent damage sa ilang internal organs and ang probable result, i-abandon niya ang iyang hoglets or worse patyon, so beware lang guys!
It's not even advisable na paduwaon nimo ang imong male ug female nga hoglets together, even under your supervision. Frustrating pod kaau sa male if dili madaun iyang tuyo sa female. (this is from HHC, from Ian's post)
Also 2 males will fight if dili sila siblings and mejo mature na (personal experience).
Nice name bro.
Make it 5 months for females and 4 months for males (para clear), at the least. But 6 months will be better, by then they are really mature enough to handle their own hoglets.
