gud evening istoryans. ask lang ta ko if okay ra ba ang crt tv for ps3. or do i need to acquire a special monitor for this? i have a spare 22 inch monitor with dvi/vga. pero kung hdmi ... i think i have to purchase a new lcd/led tv gyud. thank you very much.

if gamay ang text sa game bro ma blurred na sa crt.. mao na ang common problem sa crt... klaro kaayo ang text sa lcd so better lcd nalang...

Guys nag YLOD na ako PS3 fat(release unit). It can play games for a while then it shuts down.

Blu-ray movies - works perfectly well without any shut downs.

Should I have it repaired or buy Slim na? Based on what I read, even when repaired, problem will come back from 3 weeks to 4 months.

Yeah.

Anyway earlier I play Uncharted 1 for 30 mins. - no problems. Past few days, after 30 mins or so, it starts to shut down. I marathoned last week with WarHawk - 2 hours. It did fine, though a day before was the day the problems started.

my first unit was the 40gb fat from japan, it lasted 2 yrs. then karon Poof! it became coco crunch! hehe

bro kung ikaw mag repair, ok ra balik2 lang gyud kag repair ana, but mahal ang heat gun,then hasol ang pag abli2 sa imong unit, daghan au nag wires,
kung imong ipa repair imong unit, pina ka dugay na span ana is 1 month, not unless imong ibutang sa ref imong PS3 while playing (exag, hehe), na pul-an na ang nag repair sa akong na YLOD na fat unit, wala na gyud na au, ni gasto kog 1500 ato, sayang lang..

buy nalang slim bro, bago naman mga board nila, and 45nm chips na gipang gamit, so less power, less noise and less heat na daw na.. i just had my new unit 320gb slim, yesterday i bought it sa itech. new board na model..pyts!

with respect sa sony, they dont bother to repair the models na na guba, i doubt naay spare parts baligya ana, ang ilaha lang is that, naa silay R n D team na mag study unsaon dili na mo re occur ang current problems, so that they will make it a point na ang problem sa karaan, dili na mo occur sa mga bago.
