    - when I came to think of it.. seeing from a very distant planet from earth (assuming I can live in that planet). And then I see earth.. just a spark of it then what I'm seeing is actually the past of earth ( 240 million years ago or so) applying the same principle from what I have read here.. cool.

If you look up at the night sky, most of what you see happened thousands, if not millions of years ago. When we look up into the night sky, we are seeing mostly the past, and not the present. That star you're looking at might have exploded or winked out thousands of years ago--what you're seeing now is light that started its journey thousands of years ago and just now, hitting your retina.

Thus, if there are some alien civilizations out there, who are of equal technological standing with us, then if they are able to point their telescopes at our Sun, and let's just say they are a little more advanced than us in terms of optics, and they see earth, they might see a "lifeless" world, if their distance from us is equal in years to the pre-Cambrian period.

Fact 1. Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light

Fact 2. Warningan sa unsa? You're forgetting that they are seeing the PAST, not the future. You mean they'll warn us of our past? LOL

Correct me if I'm wrong, di ba we are sending messages/signals/transmission to space?
So, ang makita sa distant stars/planets ang mga transmissions way back 19forgotten.
If any advance alien civilization received our transmissions, they might think we are less advance with the signals that they received.

Not if they're advanced enough to KNOW that the transmissions they are hearing are indeed old.

that would be right actually if you look at the following

saturn - 1.43 hours or so ago
    sun - 8 mins and 20sec ago

what more na kaha ang farther place

like if u look at the nearest galaxy to us Andromeda
that would be 2.2 million years ago

bitaw, nice point. mohunong ba kaha ang pag.travel sa light? like ana nga dugay na kau 240millions years na. ug asa kaha kutob.
    I think its infinite
