debating between canon eos 1000d and 450d. please enlighten me hehe

me too. if i were to choose, id choose 450D over 1000D. im a 1000D user, i should've gotten d 450D, but it was phase out already when my mom granted my request to buy a dslr. online sellers have cheap prices, i bought my 1000D in a mall, and with local warranty.

online sellers dont sell 450D anymore, and maybe 1000D too.

where r u planning to buy?

ts is caught between the 2 models. i don't think it's imperative to spring with another model of the same brand-kay maglibog ni cyag samot. I'd go for 450D why? it's already stated. spot metering, acceptable noise handling and another compelling reason for purchase is the 3 inch LCD as opposed to 2.5 inch of 1000D. If you are looking into getting serious picture taking, but don't want to spend a fortune, 450D is all you need.

i'm a 1000d user and if given a choice between the two, i would go for the 450d... one of the reason i choose 1000d was because mao ra ako nakaya during the time i bought my cam.. but then again, 1000d has never failed me and being a newbie, i am happy with the output it produces..

@TS...if you can afford it, go with the 450D. I'm a 500D user and I like the 450D more because it handles noise better. Ignore the other rebels.

If you're thinking of going higher than the 450D, consider the 40D, 50D, 60D, or 7D. If you can't afford these, stick with the 450D. It's the perfect Rebel.

As a general rule when deciding between bodies, the lesser the "model" number the better (ie: xD > xxD > xxxD > xxxxD)... generally for the same generation of course.

So yeah... get the 450D.

450D ako gi pili kai ang dakong labaw sa 500D kai maka take daw video.. dili man ko tig video

A used 40D would be much better. You might want to consider that too.
