mao ba? i dont have the original wave as i was planning to buy it but 100 pesos ra price difference so i bought this one. Im glad i did. But i cant compare it as i dont own the original.

The original wave has a SAMOLED but 3.3" display, the WaveII has a 3.7" S-LCD display w/c is inferior to the SAMOLED aside from the TEXT quality.

this is a really nice phone, best screen resolution, video and camera... plus bada os has really nice apps and games, i think bada will be popular one of these days...

Wave 1 can can record a movie at 720P @30fps which is HD
and can play also even with MKV @720P.
Idunno if the wave 2 is already Bada 1.2 already
although wave 1 upgradable also to 1.2
the advantage i guess would be its screen size 3.7" over the wave 1's 3.3"
I guess the shortage of Super Amoled production shift the Wave 2 to Super-LCD's.

just wanted to share this
i came to this forum with one purpose, to find a buyer for my wave 2 i which i bought yesterday. because:it wasn't android. but after reading the posts about Samsung Wave, i must say i have jumped off the bandwagon
i agree with what everyone said about the graphics and the amoled screen. it is superb! esp since its cam is pretty decent (5mp). since it's still 1day old, i hope to explore more.
as for the app store, of course, it needs a lot of development but the apps available are pretty nifty even those for free.
so yes, wave 2 is worth it
i'm a convert LOL
to the other users, share your thoughts about the best apps, how to optimize its use esp where to buy the case or screen protector (its a bit bigger man gud than its predecessors etc2) sulit gyud kaau
