OVERVIEW
Our product is free Skype call recorder and we offer transcription services along with it. The recordings are mostly interviews involving two or more participants. The conversations are mostly in North American, British, Australian or Indian accents of English.
With our Freelance Transcription Program you can work with us for audio transcription. The skills required are fast typing speed and good comprehension of English. You have to have a computer, Internet connection, a good quality headset and a verified PayPal account.
There are no commitments or obligations on CallGraph.Biz. You are free to choose when you want to work and which files you want to work on. There are no minimum withdrawal limits or other restrictions.
We have transcribed more than 78,457.63 minutes of audio till date and paid out around $21,543.34 to our transcribers and reviewers.
TRANSCRIPTION PROCESS
Our transcription process consists of multiple steps. The first step is raw transcription in which the audio file is played back, transcribed and incomprehensible parts marked with blanks. The second step is a review process in which the raw transcript is proof read and mistakes are corrected. The third step is a verification process where the reviewed transcript is checked for consistency.
PAYMENTS
We pay
$10 per audio hour for raw transcription. Once the submission is reviewed the earnings are credited to your CallGraph.Biz account and it accumulates there. They can be withdrawn to your PayPal account anytime. You can use any PayPal account as long as it is verified. Currently we do not support any other payment mechanism.
APPROVAL PROCESS
To become an approved transcriber on CallGraph.Biz you have to transcribe a short test file (around 6 minutes) as per our guidelines and submit the raw transcript. We will review it and check for compliance against our guidelines. If found satisfactory you will be approved as a transcriber (and paid). If not we'll give you feedback on areas which need improvement.
After approval you may be promoted to a Reviewer if your raw transcripts are consistently rated as Good or Excellent by our reviewers. We pay $10/ah for reviews, and it takes lesser time and effort compared to raw transcription. You can also refer your contacts and earn a 2% commission on their earnings.
You do not have to pay any amount for the test. Its free.
NOTE: You will need to have a
account for this so that they can send your pay there. They don't take money from you. And this is absolutely free, except for the PayPal part because they charge you $1 for verification BUT IS REFUNDABLE once you have verified your credit card.

Here is my earnings as of Sept 27, 2010. Recently I can do at least 5 files per day so that's $5 a day, and I can still do more depending on the availability of workload like the above screenshot where 100+ files were given for transcribing:

NOT BAD FOR A PART-TIME JOB!!! PhP1,450 in 1 week!!! Mura na og minimum wage worker! hehehe! And there's no limit to how much you can earn, basta kugihan lang jud ka!
