Smile Which is more physically durable in terms of gaming: OEM Reference or Third party?

Which is more durable in terms of gaming:

Reference video cards or 3rd party video cards?

    Definition:

Reference - designed and manufactured by AMD and Nvidia. This is usually associated with "box" type coolers and black PCB with an AMD or Nvidia logo at the PCIE "male plug".

3rd Party - designed by AMD and Nvidia and manufactured by Sapphire, XFX, EVGA etc. These type of video cards have their own manufacturer's coolers and probably the GPU placement is different from the GPU placement of OEMs. The color of the PCB, caps, mosfet, pwm etc. are also chosen by the manufacturer's specifications.

    Durable - "dugay ma guba"

Please tell me asa mas lig.on if naay errors sa question or sa definitions stated above ako i.edit. Thanks.

    ang ako opinion

ill go for third-party design, especially those designed for overclocking. coz its sure they are using better quality components and the design has overclocking in mind...

unless lang the same lang japon ang components used, ill go for which is designed to cool better

Let's not speak of the way it looks (design). Let's talk about durability and stability.

on the cooling side...mas durable gyud ang 3rd party...always remember nga kargado sa reference design(either NVIDIA or ATI) ang cooler usa ra gyud ang air inlet, kana ra naa sa fan...kung ma partially block na w/ other cards sa tapad nga slots lisud na ug higop hangin...whereas sa 3rd party cooling designs daghan ka lutsan...

on the components side...better gyud ang 3rd party esp. ning Cyclone series sa MSI bsan e-oc & overvolt ang gpu payter pa gihapon...

you mean like this: SemiAccurate :: Nvidia fakes Fermi boards at GPU Technology Conference

seriously, di man siguro na mapalit ang cards from nvidia/ati - usually review sample or demo purposes only.

i will always go for 3rd party design...low temps on component= longer lifespan..
