I dont have much idea on this one but driving attitude.car weight will matter.. based lang ni sa akong experience.

    just imagine

a 1.3 EFI sedan est total weight around 1,100kgs +passenger 5x60(300 so total weight is 1,400kgs

or let say a 1.6 EFI same weight pila kha ang gas ration in comparison sa 1.3 EFI with same weight load same terrain @the same speed

1.3EFI Vs. 1.6 EFI.. pila ang RPM @the same speed?... let say 25Kn/hr.. pila ang rpm sa 1.3 Vs. 1.6?

    kinsa mn nka suway ani?........

I am only telling you the facts and yes car manufacturers today cannot give you a fuel efficient car. Engineers are good in following what they are told to do and it is a fact also.
It is all about business plan and they are working with the oil suppliers. When it is not on their business plan to give you a 20km per liter of petrol (mixed city and highway driving) car today, you cannot have it straight from the factory. If you look at the patents by car manufacturers, there are designs made by them that can improve fuel efficiency but you can't just have them today for reasons they don't want you to know.

What do you think where did those 200mpg carburetors go? What happened to inventors who are able to use water as fuel with no petrol and inventors who publicly announced their work that they are able to improve fuel efficiency more than a 100% from what you can have today? What happened to the firestorm spark plugs?

Until you open your eyes for reality and until you do the extra effort with an open mind to understand how a combustion engine should work, you will never understand why cars today are simply inefficient. We should not be running any of these combustion engines if the technology of Tesla were not suppressed in the first place.

Face the facts that you cannot get a fuel efficient car until such time you correct the design flaws intentionally installed as part of the manufacturing process.

Here's a link for you to read when you start asking the right questions:

Another good source of information for your reference.

    Panacea University - Courses

Start thinking "freely" what you can do to improve your car's fuel efficiency. Get out of the box where you are right now and open your mind for endless possibilities.
okay. thanks for the links. i'll get to them some other time when i have the time.
just wondering, is it still good to maximize car performance, maximizing its potentials? too much of anything is bad, i presume. Will it not sacrifice the power for instance... Or has it been tested for a period of time, no side-effects, the stability, etc.

i guess you've already done more than 20km/liter to your car, right? and i think the car that you're using is Nissan LEC, right?

I'm also open to the possibility, but I really don't have the time to search for answers on how to modify car's specs to address fuel efficiency problem.
