It's Standard procedure mn jd na if the screening test(Qualitative) is positive e confirm thru Quantitative testing due to the fact na daghan cross-reacting substances na maka cause ug false positive result ( Qualitative ) . Then if POSITIVE jd ka sa HBsAg, then you should be tested sa imong IGM anti-HBc to differentiate an acute or chronic infection ba na. If POS = then acute HEP ,if negative then Chronic.

Another possible answer sa imong question is... the purpose of the vaccine is to introduce an antigen sa taw para mu produce ug antibody response. But since you are infected, then there is no point na tagaan napud ka ug same stimuli. Pero if negative ka sa ANTIGEN, then the fact that nag pa test ka ana means you consider yourself na high risk ka na matakdan nya, so your choice pa vaccine ka or not. If naka recieve naka prev vaccination, you only need booster shots. The dosage can be determine by testing the anti-HBsAg.

I mean you are immune to Hepa B for 10 years. After that, you might need to get another. I think the vaccine costs 3-5K. It consist of 3 injections for a period of 1 year. That's what I remember of it, I'm not sure anymore, it was over a year ago when I was planning to get one when the girl I was dating revealed she had Hepa B, but we broke up a week after that. So my plan went kaboom.

Kasagaran nga reactive sa hbsag sa mga immunochromatographic tests ( rapid tests ) ky usually iparepeat na sa mga doctor ug test using more sensitive method nga makina na ang magread but this is not actually quantitative tests. They are both qualitative tests. Sad to say Lang nga most cases Kay Dili jud mapa test ug confirmatory test ( neutralization test for HBsAg ) tongod sa Dili na available dri sa Cebu. Kasagaran isend out pa sa Manila.

I have chronic hbv now at taking medication for more than 3 months now.. the supplement that i am taking is korean red ginseng. before i took the said supplement, i undergo medical laboratory for HBsAg with titer and resulted 3182 counts Reactive.After less than 3 months (Dec.1,2010) of taking ginseng, i repeated undergo laboratory and now the count is 279.9 reactive.
Maybe if i had followed better diet and discipline,the count should have been lower and maybe negative.Search for lizada korean red ginseng.Just try.Their is really hope.Just pray and take care of your body.Dont drink liqour, soda, artificial juice.dont smoke.dont eat fatty food,meats,junk foods.always eat vegetables at fish with scales.it is much better to eat vegetables with little seasoning(salt only).

Hello Istoryans,

3rd dose nako sa vaccine is this coming December. Ask lang q especially sa mga nurses or doctor nga member ani. Matakdan paba gihapon ko if ever maka encounter ko og hbv carrier? like u know blood transfussion or ***.? Please advise..thanks kaau..
