DX11 goodness for the masses. You can definitely play all previous games with medium to high
settings, and all the latest games at moderate settings. What this card lacks in bus width, it makes
up with memory speed.


RAM: Kingston Value 2x2GB DDR2 800 @ 4100
4GB of RAM is all you need for casual gaming and multimedia. You can even get dual channel babies at some stores
for the same price, or a little over.

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB @ 2200
It is unreasonable to recommend a 250GB or 160GB HDD when they differ only by a hundred pesos.
WD is just a personal preference, a Seagate Drive is fine too.

ODD: Any dual-layer DVD drive @ 1000

You don't want to let that generic PSU power your HD5770 now, would you?

Alternatives: AMD Athlon II X4 (Quad Core for the masses); Asus M2N68-AM.
A GTS250 for nvidia die-hards or those with less money to spend. Maybe 2GB of RAM should be better for slashing prices off.
For office/multimedia applications, an i5 setup should work minus the dedicated vcard.
