up for this thread... its quite a nice info... slightly helpful...
I just found out that high frequency RAM can boost ur CPU performance.
I OCed my 1333 RAM to 1600.
mi dako ang cpu score nako sa 3dmark vantage.
single channel pani, wala pako ni try og dual channel.
ako pang suwayan kong mo dako ba sad ang score kong dual channel
FPS = i'd say no, not really... ang increase sa performance para nako is slight lang and most likely dili nimo ma notice in real world performance...
pag dual channel nalang nga 1333 instead of single channel nga 1600... performance improvement is more likely noticeable...and surely mo daku imong memory to processor interface bandwidth...
may see increase is synthetic benchmarks but negligible in real-world performance....
there you go! u just put a nail in the coffin!
@ts: it makes sense to OC the video card if you want to see significant gains in FPS and once you reach a bottleneck you might want to OC the processor too to squeeze out more FPS and in some instances you might want to underclock the memory to achieve stabilty

@ts
bitaw brad you wont notice jud the diff in real world applications.
if you want to see an increase in fps in games...buy a soundcard...your on-board soundcard uses the processor to do its thing...free it up and you will see a 10-15fps increase in your games...google lang for more detailed info on this...
master good to know this kay karn pa ko aneh hihi.
Mao diay to UT series sa DFI and previous generation sa Asus ROG baord kay separate ang audio card but too bad latest generation sa ROG board kay built in ang sound card..im falling inlove with my ASUS Rampage Extreme hehe
ok lang built-in ang soundcard master basta naa sya soundchip like the ROG x58 Gene nga builtin ang X-Fi soundchip...kani man gud mga Realtek audio nga common kaayo sa mga motherboards karon codex ra man gud na sya...the real processing burden is handled by your processor...
