Here is how to generate Ideas on what business you can put up

1. Ask yourself how much you want to earn Per year, or rather returns per year
2. Then ask what kinds of businesses can have those earning or returns.
3. list 20 of them
4 x out the first 10 (they are almost always useless, people have thought of them before and most likely are thinking about it. Thus the competition is stiff)
5. on the last 10 consider which of the things I would like to do, is this in line with what I want in life to happen. True money is a great motivator, but there are things that may motivate you more. Like what if you are making a lot of money but you are no longer motivated to do the business, most likely the business will fail.
6. On the Top 3 that you have listed you can then do a business plan for that.

side note, you may want to stock up on GOLD or silver. Or companies that are doing business with those. You can purchase stocks on these companies.

Why am I saying that, there is a big possibility that the US economy will be hit by the second round of their recession next year. Why? because they have used up their TARP money and still they have not quite revised their economy. Thus their economy might shirink next year. Thus demand for goods will go down. Also with the ending of the Iraq and Afghanistan occupation, that will mean that their will be lesser Goverment spending on the military |(they no longer need to buy bullets and all that good stuff) plus it will mean that about 200k military people suddenly have no jobs. They cannot be forever be in the military they would have to be placed back as citizens. So that's at least 150k added to the unemployment list.

I am a currency trader by the way, and returns of 200%-1000% a year is possible(think of how the Indonesian Rupiah that crashed in 97, that was a from 2600 rupiah per dollar to 14400 per dollar, thats about 600% in less than 6 months) , but the question is how much will you risk, because its very risky, but there are ways on how to manage your risk.
