Default to a good home... 4-year old temperamental eBay slaves

got these around 2006 and got very good use out of them.
allowed me to light from behind walls, objects, have a light
on the 2nd and 3rd floor when shooting hotel lobbies

    the infamous eBay slaves!!!
    4-channel wireless radio triggers

    receivers...

    triggers...

each trigger uses 23A battery (available for about 50 pesos in most stores)
each receiver uses 2x AAA 1.5V (rechargeable batteries are only 1.2V so will not work)

comes with pc sync cables so if your camera has a pc sync port you can
use on camera hotshoe flash while triggering off camera strobes at the same time
e.g. have strobes spread out around an event while using on camera flash for fill

receivers have pc-sync ports for using your hotshoe flash's sync cable to fire off camera

flash sync at 1/125 for focal-plane shutter type cameras (which would be SLR's)
no matter what flash sync you have it's not going to be more than 1/125 as there
is a minuscule delay when using radio signals...
even most pocketwizards also have this issue (click for image courtesy of Zack Arias)
...not to worry if your camera uses leaf shutters or electronic shutters.

without modification the range is about 10~15meters

with the antenna modification I got up to 40 meters... that's triggering a light
inside my house... out of the gate... across a four lane street... before I hit a wall
and couldn't go any further. I use thin wire twist ties so I wouldn't have to wind up
drilling a hole for thicker gauge wire that most others used. but after a long
while they break off. so instead of going through the whole soldering process
again I just twist them tight on to the board... which is why the connection
is sometimes loose and you don't get the range as a soldered antenna.

some photos where I used these triggers...

with a Vivitar flash and white shoot through umbrella for strobist shoots

bought for about 1,500 pesos each from eBay (of course)

selling now for 600 pesos each ...or... 1,000 pesos for both sets
good for those wanting wireless triggers but don't have the budget
now's the time for you to get your feet wet

must be willing to tinker around once in a while
