Default A good place to bring 40-50 year olds?

I have a big predicament, my aunts and uncles from the states just arrived and I don't know here to bring them.

What's a good classy, gimmick spot or any establishment with entertainment to bring 40-50 year olds to?

Thanks in advance for your inputs.

[color=navy]Go to Parklane Hotel where they have a live band that plays the hits of their generation, another nice bar to go to is the 50's Rock Cafe with another similar 50's to 70's live band, at Crown Regency Suites in Mactan. I used to remember Table 7 at Ayala features a live jazz band but not sure if this is still continued.

There's also Papa's Roast in V. Rama that's good for the whole family. It might be slightly expensive compared to some but the live music/comedy entertainment there is worth it. Not sure of the schedule of shows though.

If you know some of them enjoys singing, K1 or POD5 are some places you can go, too.

[color=navy]@LytSlpr, Yes the Papa's Roast with the open air area~ they have a live band that performs Pinoy and Bisaya rock and pop songs of the 60's to 70's which they pepper with impromptu stand-up comedy.

My Ninong(56 years young and going strong) and his family (permanent residents of Daly City, California) went there during their visit here and enjoyed the entertainment there.

But once again, I am not aware of the current schedule of the band's performances. Here is an online description from Sun.Star SHOWTIME.

PAPA’s Roast and Grill (V. Rama ave., across USC Girls High)
Enjoy folk, retro and light rock hits with a splash of comedy with Noel Villarba and Alex Nuñez (formerly of Music Nuts) and the rest of Mix.Com band every Wednesday to Saturday. Acoustic Nights with Noel, Allan and Zaldy happens every Sunday through Tuesday. Show starts at 9 p.m. For inquiries, one may call 262-7869.

You can inquire for their Papa's Roast management by calling them.

Hope you have a great time bonding with your relatives. Nothing counts more than Family.
