Contraceptive-based s3x-education simplky does NOT work. It actually promoters contraceptive usage and encourages people to experiment and to have casual s3x.

Promoting contraceptives has been shoiwn to cause an INCREASE in unplanned pregnancies and an eventual increase ind emand for abortion.

I think when people realize what the RH/Abortion bill is about they will reject it. The Filipino Family Survey, conducted in December 2009, shows exactly that. In that survey, 92% of Metro Manila residents (who are usually more "liberal" than Filipinos in other cities) rejected the RH/Abortion bill once they found out its provisions.

You can't stop a woman from getting pregnant unless she is sterile. S E X education should not be taught only at school but also at home. As parents, we should be responsible by becoming open-minded regarding preventing teenage or premarital pregnancies. Its not other people's fault. Its the parents fault why they didn't educate their kids the pros and cons of engaging in S E X.

Now they want abortion to hide themselves from shame. This will not make them a responsible person, this will encourage them to become cowards. Better use contraceptives than allowing to kill innocent babies. FYI once the union of eggcell and spermcell is complete that little lump already receives the gift of life from God. Its not just blood as what others say. Try to watch all the abortion videos over YOUTUBE then try to ask yourself what if you are that chopped baby...

I think you should not generalize, this is a common mistake most people do. Though some of them are just into the political influence and "perks". In you thoughts you are asserting that the church are simply saying not acting, again do not generalize.. besides you are leading on a wrong direction. Stick on the RH bill controversy if you may. Some religious sect are doing good man pod.. not that you blame the country's poverty solely to the church as it is mainly the gov'ts responsibility to do so needless to say we are also responsible in uplifting our country economically. Again, I'm into separation of Church and the State, but as we can see the church are here to check and investigate the law especially this RH bill. As what I've observed it is their duty to remind the people (their members) of their moral obligation, you can't blame the church even if you say it's stone age rules and teachings. Bottomline is it is on each one of us on how to react and act on this issue. Either way you are not forced to use or not to use contraceptives it's not against the law anyway.

I think we need to protect this country from the excesses of the Catholic church, because not everybody is Catholic and furthermore of those who call themselves catholic, very few are really practicing and an even smaller minority agree with the Church especially on this issue.

Most of the protestant faiths don't have the same fanatical position on the RH bill as the catholic leaders do, and the muslims are also not vocal against this bill. It is only the catholics especially their propaganda wing that is trying to make something that isn't abortion, into abortion. Thankfully people are smarter than this, and it looks like the church and its attack squads are getting so desperate they have threatened criminal activity just to force their beliefs on everyone.

Let's protect our country by attacking, criticizing and humiliating these people every chance we get. This is the only way to protect ourselves from their lies.

Filipino boxing icon and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao on Monday expressed his opposition to the controversial Reproductive Health bill currently pending in Congress.



At a press conference in the House of Representatives, Pacquiao, a devout Catholic, said he is for natural family planning method, particularly abstinence.



"Magtiis tayo, dapat may pagtitiis tayo. Makasalanan yung paggamit ng condom at pagpapalaglag ng bata (We should control ourselves. Condoms and abortions are sinful)," he said.



"Magsakripisyo kayong mga lalaki. Yung mga babae din pala. Minsan yung babae pa ang nangangalabit (Men should control their urges. Women too, because sometimes it's the woman who initiates the move)," he added, eliciting laughter from some of those present in the press briefing.



He said there is nothing in the Bible that tells parents to limit their children to two. "Hindi naman sinabi na 'Go out and multiply' pero dalawa lang ang anak (The Bible does not state that parents should go out and multiply but limit the number of offspring to two)."

Imam Council of the Philippines head Ibram Moxir also lambasted action star Robin Padilla, who has appeared in TV and radio advertisements promoting the use of condoms.

"Lilinawin ko, isang aktor lang yan. Hindi yan ang opinion ng religious Islam na kapag ang isang aktor sa kanyang pananamplataya sa religious Islam ay nagsabing ito siya, ay yan na ang tutularan. Hindi po ganyan ang Islam," Moxir said in an interview with Church-run Radio Veritas.

Padilla has converted to Islam in 1996 while in jail for illegal possession of firearms case.

Moxir said the national government’s birth control policy runs counter with the teachings of Allah and Islamic beliefs in general.

"Binibigyan tayo ng Panginoong Allah ng babala patungkol diyan dahil mali rin yan sa pananaw ng kapatid nating mga Muslim, dahil tayo po ay nilikha upang magparami. Maliwanag, magpakarami kayo, kaya hindi tayo sang-ayon sa posisyon ng pamahalaan hinggil sa birth control program," Moxir said.

He said the government is underestimating God's wisdom and His plans for his people.

He's just one official, and muslims don't have an organized leadership like the catholics do, who think the pope is some kind of holy emperor on earth. Their faith is based solely on the Koran. There is no single agreement among them on what their position is on a lot of things, including this one. In that way they are less dogmatic and fanatical than some people here

there are other factors to consider.. such as cultural.. as ive said earlier.. these people are just responding to what they see in the media or what their peers tell them...

the reason nga nag ka social-decay ni mga americans is simply because they have become decadent.. hinatagan nman sila sa tanan...nagsalig nlang.. wa nman sila paningkamotan unlike dire sa pinas nga we have to make sacrifices..

i wonder what would happen if you remove s3x education... there would be more pregnancies than before..

besides.. its not only the issue of PMS.. theres also the issue of family planning.. kinsa ba ganahan manganak og 10x? seriously... unsaon nlang pagbuhi...

is it promiscious para sa husband and wife to enjoy s3x without having to create a child?...
