If I'm in a market now for Touchscreen Tablet my OS choice will either be an iOS or Android - Froyo at least. W7 is not optimized for a touch screen device compared to the two mobile OS mentioned above but even then Froyo is not as optimized for tablet also, however Google promised that it will be improved on the upcoming release of Android Gingerbread. If you're not really a fan of Apple's iOS and not in a hurry then I suggest to hold off on the tablet purchase for now and wait a little bit perhaps first quarter next year until Gingerbread Droid tablets will starts to surface on the market and pray that versions with dual core snapdragons or Tegra will be priced competitively.

I guess it's a mater of preference. Win7 gets a lot of it technology
from the Microsoft Surface table computer...
what I'd love to see is Microsoft bring the Project Natal/Kinect
technology to the PC so I can browse, edit, etc... without having
to hunker over a keyboard or lean forward and touch a screen
...but I'm getting way off topic here![]()
I spoke too soon... someone did it already and it wasn't Microsoft...
