Thread: HD4650 or GT220

  1. #1

    Question HD4650 or GT220

    hd4650 1gb ddr2 or gt220 1gb ddr2

which do you think is better guys?

    - i believe gt220 is equivalent to 9500gt

    - hd4650 is older but with better specs

    - on neoseeker review (i dont know if this site is reliable >.< ), gt220 beats hd4650

    now i am confused...

    need more inputs here please

guys, ive checked more online resources, and most people prefer 4650 over the 220...

    plus as well here.

so guess 4650 is the way to go..

    thank you

The GT 220 is slightly faster than the 9500GT. The HD4650 is faster provided that it is the DDR3 variant. If not then on par ra na sila sa GT 220.

For most people, ATI chipsets are still the best.
But the performance would really differ from compatibility.
So if u have an AMD rig, so go for ATI
and with Intel rig, go for Geforce.

Ug nag depende sad na sa manufacturer nga imung gi palit nga gagamit sa chipset nga imung napili.

Coz for me pag mu palit ko ug Geforce, no no, sa akua ng sparkle nga manufacturer.
and same with ATI, nga di sad ko sa palit nga manufacturer.

if ATI ka ,go for Sapphire,HIS,XFX....last option na ang Powercolor.

thank you for the inputs guys! all noted.

    @ gaspar

    those are good brands indeed!

    @ sempron

both are 1gb ddr2. maybe ill be with the hd4650 due to it looks better as per hs design, lol!^^

    thanks bro

    ------------

although the sparkle brand is true as per my experienced(i have lots of 9800gt here failed specially the fans, but luckily repaired), i wonder why immelman doesnt want palit brand in ati. this is what i am using =/ (based on my experienced with numbers of palit brands here, they are good and quite tough)............

you also need to consider that there are 2 variants of gt220..ddr2 and ddr3 versions..

there are some games nga molabaw gamay ang 4650..depende ra sa game nga imong duwaon..

but you have take note physx is present sa gt220..4650 i guess wala..

to sum up...it depends sa game nga imong duwaon, but based on reviews gt220 ddr3 1gb is slightly better.

just choose the ddr3 ana nila bro if ever mo decide ka.. but i suggest you choose the 4650 256-bit ddr3 kay kung ari ka sa gt220 ddr3 hinay ra hinay ra gihapon kay until 128-bit ra man na.
