    Unsa nga specific focal length?

Have you already made some preliminary researches between the two brands?
If you haven't done some research, I suggest you do some para makasabot
ka sa mga replies unya diri sa uban photogs and why mao na ilang preference.

Try this site: First vs Third Party DSLR Lenses

As much as possible, go for OEM/First Party Lens.

How about you save your money nlang, then buy a lens na 12 months 0% then

Con - Naay possibility nga bad copy imong mapalit, so check gyud.
Also, I don't like the "felt paper"-like finish sa Sigma. Mapakpak ra xa inig kadugayan.

    Tamron
Pro - Consistent ang build quality
Con - Medyo hinay mo focus; Tends to hunt in low light situations.
Also, I noticed like the 17-50mm has a stiff zoom ring.

Have you considered Tokina? It's built like a tank daw. Matud pa nila.

Also take note na maskin 3rd party na nga lens, mag depend pud sa focal length
(ug aperture) ang price. I notice nga medyo mahal ang mga wide lens compared sa telephoto lens.

Ako, I got an old Tokina 28-70 f/2.8 AT-X AF. Paspas ra mu focus, nice iya colors. Wala lng jud ayo iya focusing distance (2.5ft/0.7m), and dli kaayo sharp at f2.8.

Sa imong budget ang mapalit nimo sa sigma ana are the following

    18-200 f3.5-f5.6
    17-70 f2.8-f(x)
    30 f1.4

    sa tamron ky
    17-50 f2.8

sigma = acceptable ang focus speed in lowlight, ok rasad IQ depende sa imo satisfaction rate
tamron = will kill you on low light situations mao ranay drawback akong nakita niya
tokina = built like a tank hence sluggish on focusing just like the movement of a tank mas grabeh ug CA but ma-fix ra sa imo in-cam function to eliminate CA or post process...
