Iverson: 'My whole thing was being wanted'

Forget about South Beach. Allen Iverson is taking his talent to Turkey. The former NBA MVP has signed a $4 million, two-year contract with [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]Turkish[/COLOR][/COLOR] club Besiktas after waiting in vain all offseason for an offer from an NBA franchise.
The four-time league scoring champion played three games for Memphis last season before he returned for a second stint with Philadelphia, where he spent most of his career. Iverson averaged 13.9 points for the Sixers before taking a leave of absence to deal with family issues.
Iverson said Thursday that those issues have been resolved.
He admitted he was "a little surprised" that no NBA teams were willing to give him a shot. He said he was willing to assume any role necessary, even if that meant coming off the bench.

It's his attitude that causes teams not to gamble on him. If only he has an attitude like that of Grant Hill, maybe daghan pa teams mogukod niya.
