on the contrary earlz, static ip is easier on 3-4 network pcs.
DCHP is simply a management feature. once a computer has been given an IP address whether its due DHCP or Statically it does not matter anymore, an IP address is an IP address.
port forwarding? this isnt the main thing, port forwarding isnt his main concern as of now(and most regular cafe's dont even bother, sa mga advance ra kuno ni).. ga libog paman gani cya kung static ba or dhcp iyang gamiton. and by the way, cant you port forward using local host names instead of ip address(im not sure ha, i also port forward using IPs sa akong network)?
the only difference siguro is that dchp clients "renew" their allocated IPS after some time (time is configurable) but functionwise, i do not see any significant hurdle based on his setup(assuming 30 pcs internet cafe)
but specifically for my own setups all my "client" computers are DHCP'ed only my printservers and NAS'es are statically assigned (of course you have to reserve the ips for them in your router)
im not saying static ips are bad, both work as they are supposed to anyway.
but if junax69 is asking this question, i assume he is no expert on the subject so my advice would be to go the "easy" way
