how to hide files or folders without using any software?xcept for folder options

The software works great!... ang mga ni complain man kay mostly those from the IT management. Naa man gud concerns like data backup, users forgetting their password, etc. Microsoft doesn't have a way of recovering the files if ever you forgot your password and some say it'll also be very difficult for recovery service companies too.. Some even say it's not possible to recover co'z the files, once hidden are also encrypted. Mao ra jud na.

I think it's going to be a feature of Vista but after the complaints they received, i doubt if they'll include it anymore.

kung multiuser/multi-account imo system... try checking the folder property and make sure it is hidden.. after that.. click the sharing tab and tick the checkbox "make this folder private". Any other account cant access that folder. One caveat though: folder must be under your account/username in "Documents and Settings" folder
