I don't think its even fair to example downloading stuff over the internet here. But digital distribution like netflix or PPVs should be pointed out here. Download stuff over the internet for free is not a substitute to cable.

I have Netflix !!! I love it soo much .. But due to a different set of copyrights here in Canada , we don't have a good selections of stuffs compared in the US version ..

With a Media Center PC connected to a flat screen TV with surround speakers, all you need is uTorrent, piratebay and eztv.it For news, you won't have CNN live but you can open a browser and go to the CNN website and get all the news faster. This is why I think Skycable will eventually go bankrupt.

Yesterday I downloaded Walking Dead and South Park in High Definition. Looks great on my TV and didn't cost me anything =)

The only downside to choosing and downloading stuff by yourself is you don't get exposed to shows that you might have liked but didn't know about. You have to research the new shows by yourself and download them to see if you're going to like them.

If SkyCable subscribers mas mo prefer dyud ug internet kay way ayo ilang channel line up.

Pero kami Destiny Cable aw satisfied kaayo bisan naay internet, its cheap and with great channel line up, lahi ra dyud ang experience sa TV, coz anytime pwedi raka ma switch ug channel, unlike sa internet ikaw mo think what gusto nimo tan.awon, loading pa, mag agad paka sa streaming quality, or sometimes wholeday ka way internet.

Internet is also useful kung gusto dyud ka mag una sa Cable Series, with our 2 Mbps speed, ma human ra ang 389MB download nga series for 1hr. Yup maka puno dyud ug HD kung sge ka ug collect, e burn raman pud for backup, ang kusog mo dl ug mga series kani dyud mga babaye, Gossip Girls, Prestige's, Americas Next Top Model, Vampire Diaries, Hellcats, Glee, hayyyy puno dyud. Ang ako Mythbuster and TopGear ra dyud.

Malingaw lang pud ko sahay sa Cable kay mag scan scan sa channel then naa kay ma timingan nga gusto nimo tan.awon. Not all ma kita nimo sa Cable makita nimo sa internet, with TV pwedi raka mag ligid ligid hangtod makatulog ang remote ra imong gi kuptan, pero sa PC mag kupot paka sa keyboard and mouse.

missed cable TV but for cost-cutting purposes, we unsubscribed from the services about 5 years ago. quite satisfied with the internet.
