nagduda gyud ko ani, something's fishy w/ the deal here.. why would the owner of mang inasal give up when he's halfway there ? .. he could have been the next henry sy, gokongwei.. from small time to big time..

to a lot of people 3B would be a huge amount of money.. but to some people money is not everything.. business maybe a money thing almost entirely BUT its not everything.. sometimes its the journey that counts.. an example would be PC vs MAC.. one of their owners could have given up on the competition, sold out & retired to permanent vacation.. but there is also pride & the recognition that come hell & high water, you could compete w/ the world & the best out there..

for the owner to say that it was 'painful' letting go of mang inasal, now there's the clue.. i think he may have been subjected to some sort of blackmail, or threat to his family.. & his competitors say ok we give you alot of money (3B) & nothing happens to your family.. win/win situation supposedly for him & for everybody else who reads this deal..

but for me, i'm very curious of why would somebody stop halfway to where he should have gone.. 3B may be a lot of money, but if he just continued on his journey, he could have still acquired that amount of money AND got something else like respect & recognition.. & a huge story to tell to his grandchildren

I think wala niya gihurot ug baligya ang shares, I think naa siyay 30% na bilin. Business strategem pud na bro, through that partnership, mas dako pud diay ug ROI ug opportunity to expand because these two entities have unique system. Ang network pud sa jollibe, dako na pud kaayo, mas mu dako pud ang market share sa Mang Insala kung mu merge sila with Jollibee. Who controls distribution, controls and dominates the market.
