nVidia VC problems in notebooks

8700M GT ni ako so far wa man ni mag hinanggaw hapit na ni mo 3 years. Init lang gyud hinuon moabot 110 deg. kung mag duwag bug-at nga games at medium settings.

akong nahibalan ang 8600 series ra man naay problema..murag sa dell man to. dugay na man na, haven't heard of other issues since then

There was also a recall of macbook pros with nvidia 9800 series cards not too long ago (2 months ago i think)

problemado jud ni nvidia vcard ako compaq f500 ahak na junk kay guba iya gpu dli na madala ug reflow hastang mahala raba pgpalit nako ani before hahay

me i got ASUS here w/ geforce 8400M chipset ni agi nani ana nga problema.. . i got it repaired by freesoul for 3K...ouch!!! buslot lagi pud bulsa. ..

this is true. NVidia video chips were too hot so they burned.

happened to two of my laptops. Asus w/ 7300 & HP w/ 8400GS.

ang Asus, gi dawat sa Asus Phils at 40% sa actual cost then I chose what current model laptop I want and add rako gamay.

ang HP, gi repair sa taga Hot Toyz for 3,500 which lasted for 11 months. 2nd time around, gi pa replace nako ug 5,000 ela charge. still working now. may nalang kaysa na basura ang laptop.

sa mga old nVidia VC ra ba na mahitabo?? wa naba problema sa mga latest VC nila karon sa mga laptop like
GT310m pataas?

^^ actually ang bago na nvidia mobile gpus karon are better than the mobile radeons. Sa ako ra nuon ni nabasahan sa tomshardware or what is bit-tech when they compared the two using an ASUS gaming laptop.
