How to become a moderator?

I wish to answer if I may,
I think it is based on affinity and the will to serve,

Affinity in the sense that such a place is where you could find solace, fun
and ideas, keep oneself having a place for a companion when it is needed the most.

Will to serve is to try to uplift this companion that one thinks already became a part
of his/her day to day living.

But of course to be a moderator is something that is awarded, not asked
I think a bestowment to those who has the capabilities to carry out the task,
for being a moderator is not a privilege, but it calls for responsibility.

I agree in the latter part ... least your on the right track. As for Affinity that is ones choice, but the will to serve is good. Doing something that help everyone without asking anything in return is key. On the bright side you do get knowledge, friends, a chance to help the community both online and offline. Anyone else what to crack the question WHY?

The question I want to ask people is Why do you want to be a MOD?

same thought .. hmmm why does most people want to be a MOD. they don't pay you at all and it take lots of responsibilities, makes me wonder. lolz.. for me i just keep roaming in this place. As long as I enjoyed it here I'll stay. wanna be MODs goodluck and be good..

Wanting to be a moderator is just like asking for access in Mature Discussions, you always thought there's something interesting going on inside but the truth is there is none.

No wonder moderators never tells you it's nice to be a mod, they always say something else.


It's enough that you start by helping police the forums and reporting violations.
Some pioneer members don't report posts, they sometimes ask how much the item is even if they know it's not posted in Buy & Sell section.

Read and understand the Forum Rules thoroughly, when you do, you will easily recognize a violation even if it passes by at 40 miles an hour.
