    i still remember this...
    ROTC..i learned a lot
5k per sem para dili na kinahanglan mosulod
    wala na pud haircut inspection
sure passing grades, sila pa answer imo exams hahaha

required pa jud palit uniforms kay masuko kuno si "sir"

"patriotism" do not use this as an excuse
there's too many uneducated filipinos out there
    are they less patriotic?
are women considered unpatriotic?ngano wala sila ROTC?
or is it a given na sure na patriotic sila?

Naa ka point ani bai, and it is a good one.

Sa ko lang, kapoy, hassle og pait ang ROTC but it will give most of our citizen the "taste" of what military is. at least they will be exposed to the "basic" training needed if in case the unthinkable happens again.

Pero mao lagi, like all our laws, policies and ordinances, ang pagimplement ug tarong ang problema kay murag na apil na sa atong culture ang pagka-corrupt.

If they put ROTC back it should be another purpose other than national defense. Because no matter what we do it will only take 1 day for a country like China to win if it came to that. We should work more on making our country richer, so we can afford more high powered weapons. A huge army is no longer effective as it was during WW I. Today it's more about technology. That's how Israel held off 5 invading countries... as long as Philippines remains poor we will always be an easy target for invasion.

in other words, EXCUSE man lang na nimo nang buhaton nimo para di ka ma disiplina.

DEMOCRACY may have given us freedom. but it is a privilege, not a right. ang lisod sa mga generation karon is mangita nalang excuse not to be subjected to harsh realities.

pero c'mon, let's face it, wai sayon ning kalibutana. all it takes is a little sacrifice for the country. kana lagi pud kung tarong ang magpalakad. saun man, we're all part of the cycle of corruption and juan tamad mentality. mao ang Pilipinas, di mu asenso. tsk

this is true. but i still believe nga ma.undang ang sabado nights kai kinahanglan matulog ug sayu kai naay rotc inig domingo. considering nga gamay raman ang pwedi mamayad. kai dili pwedi tanan sa usa ka platoon ang mobayad. so uyon ko kun ibalik ang ROTC.

i did pay on my rotc 12.
