a wise man once said "religion is a the opium of the masses"

during man's infancy, we invented the notion of higher beings to explain the wonders we encountered that we can not explain or comprehend. our self awareness has evolve beyond our own comprehension that we are now asking the question "who made us and what are we doing here?" to answer this question we solidify our belief of higher being and thus the notion of god was born and of course religion which is our expression of our belief in our god flourished.

for thousands of years, religion has become the foundation of mankind. It has become a source of power and enlightenment. our action now depends on our religion and belief. we do not question it. we kill, we rape and murder for our religion. we sacrifice men or child or women to our god. we judge and hinder man's quest for more knowledge because this defies our religion.
