The tradeoff is that there will be much less interference, and 5GHz is drastically more effective at penetrating concrete and brick walls.

i used to have DLINK DIR-615 WirelessN Router which i sold to my neighbor. Why?because i cant see any difference in terms of performance with this NETGEAR G router...i might get another one if i move to another bigger house.

primary benefit is link speed and quality between router and N compliant device.,, Internet access speed wholly depends on your internet subscription.

amo kai 2-storey concrete house. ang mga devices kai CPs w/ 802.11g, laptop nga draft-N, ug 1 pc(located sa taas). so dili ko ka 5GHz no kai G ra man ang CP.. di man pud ko magLAN transfer or LAN game diri.. ako ta ibutang ang router sa ubos. mga 10m ra man pud ang distance sa pc from the probable location sa router.

based sa giingon ni gaspar_73, MURAG wala naman cguro difference ang wireless G or N kung ing-ani nga situation.. also, it's about the brand pud. TP-Link sucks based sa reviews . Naingganyo ta ko kai barato ra lagi haha. based pud kai AMD_infinium05, mas better ang quality sa connection..

We got different needs man pud di ba. so based lang sako situation, wireless N or G. Sa ako tan-aw, i guess i'll just use a D-Link or Linksys G router.. am i right? Mura mag mahal ang netgear hehe

post lang mo guys if u got something to share
