The hospitals here in the US cant afford foriegn nurses. Its a long process and its costly thats why they opted for nurses who are already here in the US. Nag lisud ang goberno diri ron. I mean, gi cut man gali nila ang hrs sa mga govt employees. As for discrimination, dili man jud na mag wagtang, I mean kita gali Pinoy mo discriminate sa kapwa pinoy. As for racism naa jud na bisan asa. But here in California where everywhere you turn there is a Filipino, wala ko ka feel ug discrimination. I used to live in Rhode Island where people there are mostly whites naa jud discrimination didto.

Broken english? Ok raman na diri. Dili mana big deal as long as maka communicate. I understand there are some state who requires IELTS for foriegn grad nurses. So mga istoryians, chillax lang mo uy! Dili man jud na gi pin point ang Pinoy for not hiring or something, its just that nag lisud ra jud ang US ron kay down ang economy.

OA ra pud kaayo ubang Pinoy wui .. Kay ang hospital dili na mu hire ug foreign nurses due to some issues, discrimination na dayon !!! Pffftt .. Even if it's discrimination ni or dili, wa na tay mahimo ana, sila may nanihanglan ug workers ..

Kung dili na sila manawat ug int'ls ang mga hospitals, adto lang sa lain such as nursing homes, insane asylum, and etc .. SIMPLE AS THAT !! Dili ra man sa hospital ra maka trabaho ang mga Florence Nightingale wannabes .

I wonder what's wrong about not hiring someone who don't have a great communication skills??
I know lots of Filipino claims themselves as "they're best in the world
A lot of "professionals" here speaking broken English and only in consonants (fresh off the boat)
It's funny though that they always think they have the best English skillset in Asia compared to other countries that English is not their first language.
Why don't they just accept the fact that they don't want FILIPINOS because they have a poor English skills ??

Then you have the nerve to recommend people to take "full-on ESL classes". Dude, you're a walking contradiction!
