Thanks kaayo sa inyong mga responses. naa koy miga na 2nd yr college ra gani to xa sa fine arts kutob and call center agent iya experience dire nakawork man didto... call center man pud unta ako plano applyan diha not really IT related jobs kai wa ko alamag... hiring pud ba ang call center diha? i thought makaila sila sa Convergys cause international man. as for the school, how bout informatics? wa sad kaila ang SG ana? kai plano nako mutake didto og 2 yr course on International Advanced Diploma in Information Technology if this is all it takes. bahala nag wa ko tiwas nursing. hehehe so if mao na akong plano, naa nay chance makawork didto?

kanang computer technician na course sa tesda, muqualify sad na? huhuhu im really desperate to have a bigger income kai muskwela na puhon akong anak and im a single mom...

sa pag ka karon.. medyo stricto ang singapore sa pag hatag sa mga working pass/visa (mao na ako na bantayan ug na dunggan feedbacks sa mga job seekers)

ang pag jobhunting diri kai educational background + experience + luck = success

regarding sa pag eskwela diri... pirting mahala.. ako mga officemate nga nag kuha sa ila degree (2 years).. mga 30kS$

naa man mga callcenters diri nga nag hiring... pero heads up lang.. kasgaran callcenter diri maskapoy pa kai sa IBM-sprint account sa cvg ... by the book kaayo mga taw diri hehe...

pero if willing jud ka mo ari para mag job hunting... pwede jud ka mo anhi.. pero i andam lang jud imo kaugalingon... tibay at lakas ng loob jud

wala ko nang discourage ha.. ako a lang gi share ako opinion ug experience
samtang nangita paka ug trabaho.. i enjoy ang imo pag ka tourist/job hunter.. kai once maka trabaho naka.. kasagaran kai trabaho - uli nalang imo routa

Naka mention man ka sis ug associate degree, i think ok nman na siya para sa pag apply sa employment pass sa SG, although mag base lan gihapon sa if unsa imu applayan na position ug field.

Ang Lisod man gud diri if wala jud ka naka graduate ug college nya wala jud kay bisag associate degree nga maipakita kay mahulog nga High School graduate ra jud ka. Naa ko nabasahan sa lain forum nga 3 years na siya sa college pero wala ka graduate, ang requirements gibasihan sa govt kay ang iya High school Diploma, so Highschool ra an iya pinakataas na qualification - and ending wa na approve iya Pass.

ako addional tip:

lahi ang orientation when it comes to job hirings
sa atoa, like for example lang, maka graduate lang ka any course no matter unsa ang applied skills
pwede raka mag call center, like call center nalang ma dali2x.

here in singapore is, yah probably madawat ka sa company, but then your gonna have to apply
for a work permit or pass sa MOM (ministry of manpower)
and if tanaw nga ur a graduate of..let say nursing, then imo job applied is
sales or marketing...usually they dismissed it as anomalous
and most likely dili ka ma granted ug pass.

also let me cite pud examples:
in the states usually dili na mu matter mga papers like imo school credentials--diploma, TOR, other documents supporting
ur claims of training or what your good or mga previous job experiences, basta actual nimo mapakita what your good at then ur good to go.

singapore is both actual skills and supporting documents.

sa pinas is: documents and credentials PLUS BACKER...nevermind the skills (in most cases)

I'm just being realistic.

and please dili nato dad-on atong habit nga mu sunod2x tah sa luxuries sa highter cultures
yet we don't earn as much as them.
we filipinos are, sadly, to be known for spending more that we can earn.

as a matter of fact PR na sila sa akong sis ron and 3 years na pud sila diri

if the company ur applying for sees ur skills and ur really an asset regardless sa imong school credentials
is sila gyud mo take effort mu vouch nimo sa MOM

naa pud uban company mu hire nalang just to get u off their backs when they know sa MOM ra pud ka masangit. or so some say.
