this are all good news..i hope this will also bring back the resurgence of Chinese Martial Arts. Im glad theres somebody from the Wing Chun community who is really going to its origin to learn and feedback the learnings to the Cebuanos and the sorrounding area. Even the head instructor of Choy Lee Fut in Cebu is also in China right now doing his advance studies with the hope of later on bringing it back to Cebu. Thanks to the sacrifices of these people.. the CMA will once again be back in the general circulation..

News about the Yuen Kay San Lineage

Our Si-Fu, Grandmaster Sergio Iadarola, has master status in Yuen Kay San Wing Chun. Lately, he has put out some videos of his interviews with Dr. Cheung Yung, the top student of Sum Nung, Yuen Kay San's official successor. We want local Wing Chun practitioners to be educated about the authentic lineages and to understand the different interpretations so they can make their own wise judgment.

Dr. Cheung Yung performs the Yuen Kay San Siu Nim Tao
Here is the video, another first in Wing Chun history, of a clear presentation of the YKS Siu Nim Tao: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDpx5juWHX0

You may also view an extensive library of information at YouTube - SifuSergioChannel's Channel.

We are lucky that things are beginning to come out in the open. Our Si-Fu likes to share his knowledge and offer video proof. The IWKA offers Yuen Kay San Wing Chun under the lineage of Sum Nung, from Sifu Cheung Yung to Sifu Clifford Ip. We are very privileged that for the first time, the YKS community, which is still very closed in HK, has decided to grant the interviews and show the videos for the public. We hope that this clears up a lot of false claims about the lineage and elucidates its uniqueness.

Default Do you know the fine details of your Siu Nim Tau?

The Siu Nim Tau is one of the 3 forms of modern wing chun and has its own history, purpose and proper execution. Each lineage has its own SNT form and its own way of demonstrating it. True Wing Chun knowledge comes from studying each lineage and getting to the bottom of the form's history: When was it created? By whom? For what purpose?

Probably the most practical question of all is: What is the proper way to do each movement?

Ask yourself these things and you will be on your way to a greater understanding of Wing Chun.

Do you guys hold training/practices past 5 in the afternoon? I'm really so interested in learning Wing Chun but just don't have the time in the morning and afternoon.
