may criteria or qualifications naman na maoy
basehan sa pagdawat. well, ang dili ka pasa
say, sa TOEFL or sa IELTs aside from the basics
school / professional credentials, dili gud dawaton,
    kana kung qualifications ang basehan.

whereas, kung economic crisis naman, possibly sab
nga magbawas ug nurses including pinoys', pero dapat
based on low performances, absences or violations,
    etc.

normal raman tingali nga e hold usa ang pang hire kung
financially gipit ang hospital regardless of nationalities.

so far ang kusog tuod mo saway ky kapwa ra man nato ba...

gi start ni nako na thread for people to weigh kung really discrimination ang reason kung ngano gi freeze usa ang hiring sa foreign qualified RNs or tungod ba sa economic status karon sa US regardless of any race, religion and creed...etc!

wa nay lain rason ug di angay mag pangla-it sa imong kapwa!

^mam, if you must know, tagaan gani'g memo ang naa sa call centers nga mag-binisaya... much more ang naa ka sa ilang country which has it's own laws...

^susmaryosep... abot ang mga militante didto? LOLs....

doesn't moving on sound better than getting their jobs back on the "discriminating workplace"?

but then it boils out to this.......it's my opinion.... if i was in their place, i'd look for a more diverse place in the US....like new york or puerto rico... LOLs

i think ang reason jud is the economic crisis ron sa US.. dghan nman sd gud mga nursing graduates ron sa US oi.. dri lang sa hospital every month mag accomodate ug 200 nursing students pra mg clinical practice.. dli nman lang gud mga pinoy ron ang interested sa nursing field, nkamao na sd ang mga itom, russian, chinese, koreans ug hispanic.. mas mu prefer na sd ang mga hospitals nga mu dawat sila sa mga naa nay bedside care experience prehas aning mga nag clinicals and mga volunteers...

This goes down to prove you're only associating yourself with the fellow immigrants and the not-so educated people. If you visit schools such as Tisch, Cornell, Fordham, Pace or any other universities and mingle with students, I'm sure you'll hear vocabularies you never heard before.

If you are only up to mingling people working at KFC, factories or workplace that only offers minimum wage, yeah you can hear a lot of people (even the "Englishmens") speaking with wrong grammar.

Not really a discrimination. Hospitals are just protecting their standard of identity. Think of this like a LAW FIRM, of course most of them like to hire lawyers who has more wins than losses, right?! Whether be a discrimination or not, but in this world, some things are meant to be ..

If you're really talking about my constructive criticisms for the PINOYS in the US, well, it's true though. I know ... the truth hurts.
