Flirting and Cheating

If you flirt but know in your heart and mind that you will never do anything with this person even if he/she shows interest, then it's not cheating for me. But I think only a few - and only mostly girls - can flirt and know in their heart and mind that it's nothing. Most boys can't do that. When a boy flirts, he has an ulterior motive, and he will bite when given the chance, even when he doesn't think the girl is attractive enough. Some of them need not flirt to cheat. When a girl comes up to a boy and says "drop your pants," he will oblige. When they say dili sila mo balibad ug grasya (this one is coming from their own mouths), dili gyud na sila mo balibad ug grasya - whether or not they were the ones who initiated it.

So for me, flirting is not cheating per se, it's the motive behind it.

well, flirting for me is nothing but normal...i mean, let us not be hypocrite, we all flirt...but what is important is that we know our limitations...flirting is the act of making someone notice u or catching someone's attention or seducing someone bcoz u find that someone interesting...but for christ sake, if u are already committed, let the flirting stop coz it will only lead to cheating...and wen u cheat, everything becomes complicated...giving u tons of headaches...

OnT: flirting is okay unless if your not yet committed to someone. but for me, flirting is not yet considered as cheating.

Once you commit yourself to one person either by marriage or bf/gf, then flirting is out the window......

I don't think flirting is cheating per se...disrespectful, yes...cheating, no. However, flirting can be a precursor of events to come... (cheating) lol

Having a good time with another person is not flirting. Flirting has a definite purpose: to start an intimate relation with that person. If your bf/gf does not have that purpose, he is not flirting. He is having a good time and he is making other persons feel good about themselves.

for me flirting is considered as cheating. but a much less sinner than cheating. while cheating is something like you already have contact with, like you two already had kiss, meet ups or even ***.

OnT: flirting is okay if you are not committed because that wont lead to cheating. We can only call ourselves cheating if we are still committed to someone.
