Maybe they can use different rules. Like best 2 out 3 games while each match consist of 3 rounds. Loser has the choice of changing their character and people who play together shouldn't be matched up in the early rounds

Well I don't have any xbl friends from Cebu therefore I'm getting matched up with people from USA japan etc. Some games the lag is really bad and sometimes it's bearable but for fighting games that rely so much on timing, any lag can alter a game
