correction...you do not pay first...actually, you pay later and that can be waived in certain situations...ive had it happen to me sa s.e. and sa canon before. no biggy hehe

I'm struggling to find the right words but still feels like a rip off Actually kana imo gi-mention nga ipa-waive is true since mao man na ako buhaton everytime maka-adto ko sa ilang service center but really why do we need to dispute pa in the first place, distasteful kaayo nga experiences

3months? dugaya gud ana. longest iv heard is 3-4weeks. bagohay ra na or taod2x na? ako as a customer i expect it in days or weeks max. many here(istorya members) who've asked my assistance can confirm this. a week lang usually ang timeframe na akong ihatag for servicing or warranty claims unless special circumstance.
T'was mid last year, nevermind I don't wanna talk about if further ky mag-lagot rako samot.

Hmmm cguro they have preference maong paspas ang turn-around time, since you buy lots of products from them Making you unhappy would cost them lost in sales.

    teka...are you canon user?
    I was...

ripoff is not the word for it. anyways, even banks are like that. worse even. monthly charges here and there. every month ko ask pa waiver coz dapat wala na lagi. its stupid coz they already agree na wala charges but then i have to request it monthly. however bad experience or inconvenience is not a ripoff. paying for something thats not real. thats a ripoff. like if you bout the camera with warranty but then when a problem arises, you are asked to pay for it. now thats a ripoff. fitness first offering money back guarantee but never did. paid 1month in advance, canceled after a week after 1 visit lang coz i was very unhappy with them and half the things they promised to provide are not true pala (a ripoff by itself) yet i still got charged for several months more and never got a refund. now thats a ripoff.

OT na kaayo ni...stop nata diri...back to the video.

here is how kai got a "free" screw from nikon service center HK. (but actually paid HK$2,000 for it)

but its good to know what kind of abuse these things can survive.

like buying SANDISK extreme cards, we dont plan to drown it in the fishbowl as means of storage, but its nice to know it will survive a month or even a year underwater. and that those cheapo sd's wont survive.

sa first part rko ni tan.aw and i think:

the guy doing this video is imitating Goodhousekeeping tests. but done in a more extreme usage rather than normal.

using your DSLR to hammer a nail?! c'mon.... only IDIOTS! will do such a thing...

he try to put all the scenarios as if it were an accident - seriously?! looks like all he did were on Purpose..

the tests was like putting a Corvette in a Demolition Derby where no cars would emerge unscratched

he is just going for a show on youtube and not really for scientific purposes. just my 2 cents.
