guys,how do you prevent your memory/videocard from corrosion....is there any way to prevent them from coming back again?or do we have to regularly clean them.

i regularly clean them once every 2 months w/ pencil eraser(lightly lang)...to prevent diay dust buildup sa akong empty ram/pcie(1x)/pcie/pci slots i use this UV reactive slot cover

Wow nice lagi na. But sayangan ko mag tan-aw ug tabonan ra nako.
Just in case lang master wala cover ang slots, how do you clean them up from dust, etc? Di madaut ug itungod nimo ang blower (with long nose nga nozzle) didto?

Murag naa man UV nga variant anang Lamptron nsa slot protector sir..not sure tho. Kita ksa TPC.

pwede ra blower...basta kusog lang ang air...kung hinay, tendency is mapasok lang pag ayo ang abog didto...from time-to-time...paslaki pud ug cards ang slots w/out turning the pc on...at least ang mga contact fingers malipyo from dust..a DEFINITE NO NO is using paintbrush to clean the slots...basin ma ipit sa contacts & maputol ang brush strands mahabilin na nuon sa ilawom...

i was thinking of applying something on it,maybe wax,para dili na mubalik ang corrosion,lol...is it safe?nahibulong lang ko gahapon gaduwa ko MW2,ni-hang ako PC,ga-stutter ang audio,akong nalang gi-reset.and i decided to take the panel out to take a few glimpse on the processor for temps,and took the memory modules out just to find out nga tanang ngipon are building corrosion,the last time i cleaned it with eraser was 8 months ago...prone kaayu ang memory sa corrossion kay duol man gud sa cpu fan,siya mauy tigdakop sa dirt from the cpu fans...

pwede sad masking tape.papilit daan sa slot din hiwaan nmo para masulod ang ram.to prevent abog2,,.naay corrosion labi na aircon bugnaw kaau.
