nadakpan naba ang bloody snake?
by nature, mahadlok jud na ang bitin ug tao. labi na ning mga python..
yes herp_doctor I got your point..I really love animals, before I even feed abandoned newly born mice with milk using a baby dropper, I couldnt even sleep if I see kittens on the street alone and just wishes i never saw them, but with snakes Im sorry we are not educated how to deal with them. if we will attempt to capture them not intending to kill them, how will we know they wont bite? no one informed us of the hotline you mentioned, as I said we were not educated and i doubt they will respond to us immediately, they're not realiable, we cant even rely on our policemen here how much more them..I doubt our firemen's scope of responsibilities include capturing of animals. even our city pound kills the dog they captured and i know it's different there in your place.
BTW herp_doctor I fully understand you, and thanks for the information.
You doubt because you haven't given them a try. The City Pound kills them dogs because they're now considered pests, same as rats. Most specially to those who roam the streets. PAWS tried to rescue and rehabilitate most of these mutts to new responsible owners, but that's only extending so much of an arm. The rest is up for euthanization, as they pose a bigger threat of diseases, most specially RABIES.
Well, if you check my IP address, i'm here in Cebu, Phils now.
Bantayan Isl. & Cebu City in the Philippines is my place now. I've been happily living here for the past 5yrs. Thought may be abit different from what we have back down under. But it's basically the same. Once people are educated about how we need to co-exist with them, and as well as the proper authorities to call/report if encountering them. Then understanding & compliency comes easy.
You're very much welcome! And i do hope you really do understand how important these animals are to the environment.
Cheers!!!![]()
