Check out this news today (Oct. 10, 2010): NZ broadcaster quits over racism row

Basically, it's about a Television New Zealand broadcaster who laughed on air as he tried to pronounce the name of this Delhi Chief minister...get ready for this: Sheila Dikshit. The broadcaster had to quit his job after the network received hundreds of complaints.

I'm sorry. This is not racism. Just pronouncing the name would make people laugh. People just have to grow a thicker skin these days...especially if your last name is Dikshit.

there was once a talk show host who couldn't stop laughing at the voice of his guest....who has a voice problem and had to be operated resulting to that voice of his... he didn't resign.............he was fired.....
funny to some people but not to all.....

It may sound funny but you will have to show respect by not making fun of people's name especially if you are professional.. What I can see is that this person is showing up unprofessionalism. He was already corrected yet he keep on saying that same sh!t.
