  1. #21

    Thumbs up almost for real

    hmmmmmmm ..

so tingali i go for 2G lang una. then i'll observed. pero unsa man maayu ... 1 single 2G RAM diretso o duha kabuok 1G RAM?

besides, if i go for x2 1G ... ka-ubo sab ko sa costing. agay! kafaetz

pero ako lang pud pangagpas kay mura okay na man gyud bisan 2G lang knowing kani akong plano is not for server but personal stand-alone desktop type.

    unsa inyong ikasulti mga master(s)

naka nindot sa single high capacity ram kai aron naa paka extra slot incase gusto paka mo ugrade

di man sab diay ma-tabas2x ...

    4GB recommended but not necessary...

there are instances that u need to install 64bit OS like winserver 2008 for ( example ) FTP | GATEWAY purposes..

4GB recommended is not necessarily a requirement to fulfill for it the pc( server | back-up server | dedicated for a purpose PC ) will run.

    Installing Windows Server 2008 R2

    RAM

The following are the estimated RAM requirements for this product:

    • Minimum: 512 MB
    • Maximum: 32 GB (for Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard) or 2 TB (for Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise, Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter, and Windows Server 2008 R2 for Itanium-Based Systems).

    Disk space requirements

The following are the estimated minimum disk space requirements for the system partition.
    Minimum: 32 GB
but having a server with 1GB ram is a bit off..

    my PC is running 2GB + 1GB DDR800 in dual channel mode in a 32bit WInXP SP3 ( b4 ) now in Win7 32bit and its running fine..

but sakto ka na 32bit OS can not fully detect 4GB RAM.. 3.25GB ra

it needs just 512MB to run 64bit win server 2008.

but 64bit OSes makes the possibility to install uber RAM modules..

    such as 2TB RAM.....
