    Default Tunay na Ina (The Real Mother) 1939 classic


    This is one of only five Filipino films to survive World War II. It's a musical starring Rudy Concepción and Rosario Moreno. Directed by Octavio Solis, once known as the "Dean of Tagalog Movie Directors," it tells of a mother's search for her lost daughter.

    I've done some restoration work to improve the audio and video, and did extensive fixes to this clip:

    Love this! Thank you for that wonderful clip. It actually reminded of some early Hitchcock films like Young and Innocent or Waltzes from Vienna.
