spread the word of GOD by memorizing the bible?

lol.. is that what you are so worried about? you don't have to give them a verse as long as you can provide them a reasonable answer.. If they asked for a verse then tell them the truth that you haven't memorized any of the verse but you understand exactly what's inside it. Then asked them this "If I haven't memorized any verse from the bible does it mean I have lesser faith than you? Does it mean that you are a better person than I am? Does it mean that you're more worthy to go inside the Kingdom of Heaven?" Only a self-righteous person will answer yes. If they want to attack your church, let them be, it's their choice. If that's what their church taught them. You can defend any attack without a verse from the bible as along as you understand what's inside the bible.

A person who doesn't go to church nor read the bible but lived his life through the moral teaching of God is much more welcome to enter the kingdom of God than a self-righteous person who goes to church everyday and thinks he's the only one who is worthy of salvation..
