maayo ni! kids should be allowed to play and enjoy learning. di man sad impressive nang curriculum sa school. di kaayo nato magamit ang mga nakat unan sa adult world. sige pa memorize pero makalimtan gihapon kay walay gamit. schools should emphasize financial literacy. unsaon man nang makakita nindot work, taas og sweldo pero dili kabalo mo manage sa finances. lugi gihapon. and what's with the sheep mentality in our schools? conformity breeds mediocrity.

    imo

sakto sad jud ni ang gibuhat sa DEPEd nga walay homework during weekends kay ang class is from monday to friday ra baya and dapat ang Saturday and Sunday is for family time.dili sa mga assignments.

tinoud but in conformity there is also order....some things are good to conform to and some things are not....

on t: i don't agree banning homeworks on weekends... the better way is to revise traditional homeworks that inspire more creativity rather than manual labor style... this is a very bad move for DepEd...

This is good for those kids who are helping their parents livelihood during the weekend. During my childhood I used to sell vegetables and snacks during weekends so if naa pa daghan homework, ang time unta para makapahuway sa gabii adto na sa pagsige problema sa homework.

unsa mn jd d i ang purpose anang homework?

ang homework ba gihimo para ma lessen ang time sa student to mingle w/ his family?

removing homeworks during weekends will increase the "lax" attitude of students....DepEd wishes that the students will be able to be involve in recreational activities and bonding with their parents but the reality is, most students prefer to be in internet cafes or maybe with friends hanging out than to be at home with their parents...
