fermi gtx 480 normal ra ang 95 usahay abot 100 boiling point sa tubig hahahaha full load ni ha
+1. ang temp threshold will depend on the card design and model. usually high end cards are designed to withstand more heat since they are more power hungry.
Also, i recently found out, naa pud ni sila min temps you have to watch out for b4 watercooling. In my case, my 5970 crashes occasionally only at idle. Apparently when ur doing around 25C and below, the card stops. I just recently fixed it using a VBIOS reflash on both master and slave. Some report that you don't have to do the flash VBIOS route if you overclock (and creating a profile on CCC) your idle clocks so the card is hotter at idle but this method did not work for me at 300/800 (i also don't like it because you would be consuming more power at idle).

@ power mao bitaw wala nako gipa wsc ako 5970 sir kay ang 5000 series dili gyud ni sya init na card so i dont have a reason to watercool it. if you just want your rig to look cool with the water running on your system and have the extra buck to do it why not dba hehehehe
my 5970 croosfired @ 5760x1080 reso iya idle temps kay 40 if i play crysis with it at full settings temps kay naa sa high 70's

mau pud haha. bilib bya jud ko sa design sa ATI sa 5970 bay. The reason why akong gi WC ang card pud bro kay ako naman siya gi overclock to 950/1200. im hoping go over 1ghz gpu clock later.
Edit: my voltage to reach those clock speeds is 1.15v in case you're interested pud.
