It's a good thing that DepEd bans weekend homework. Children needs to enjoy their childhood put tawn oi. Dli sad lumsan ug academic works nalang ilang life kay learning does not end in books. Ok na ang weekdays nga assignments, let the whole family enjoy the weekends- our children can only be young ONCE.

Yes it is indeed quality time but it lacks variety. These are kids, they would want quality time not just in the academics but in the real world as well. We might as well prepare them for it while we still can.

Yes, ma practice gyud ang study habits sa bata through assignments. Kay ma follow-up man sa parents and the students mismo ang ila lessons during night-time/study-time.

the reason for the homework assigned on weekends is to give students ample time to prepare and make the best output.. one way of inculcating the value of time management on them and responsibilty... but yeah, dePed's argument is a valid premise... that works need not overload for everyone to unwind...

wow ganahan lagi ko ani ay...agree ko sa bag-ong head sa deped although mana kog eskwela...kabantay jud ko sauna elem's years na halos every weekend maghatag nlang ug assignment ang teacher mura bag dili nlang nila papahuwayun ang mga estudyante....mao gani gihimo nga wlay klase ang sat og sunday para mamahuway.....og mao man diay ning kalihoka nga cge nlang og toon maypa diay wla nlang buhata ang saturday og sunday na restday...haha magkatawa ta maghuna-huna simple logic ra kaayo...mura ra gud nag dayoff kung sa mga employee pa.....malooy nlang ta magtan-aw sa mga estudyante ba na murag inig uli nila inig hapon hagu na kaayo sila unya naa pajud assignment na buhaton....
