Muhahaha... what news is that? Our unemployment rate is roughly 7.5%, that translates to about 6.6 million unemployed. That's not counting underemployed, eg those with college degrees who work as salesgirls in Gaisano Metro.

That could be right if they arent counting jobless people who gave up looking for work or never bothered to get one.

So your point is that it's not that easy to get a flat in SG? Yea, masakiton, you still have to work hard to get a home not only in SG but also in other first world countries. Sorry, walay free ticket didto kung nag-plano ka og migrate. So what's your point again? How does this disprove what I said that most SG people can afford their homes? Last I checked, they have mortgages in SG. That's what mortgages are for yea.. so you can own your home without waiting 20+ years while saving up for one.

Hahaha no, maam that just shows how clueless you are to how these statistics are compiled. Even in the U.S. they do not count jobless people who no longer register that they are actively seeking work. They only count those who declare that they are jobless and seeking a job. Figure out first how the stats are compiled. A 7.5% unemployment rate is pretty high for a developing country. The unemployment rate in SG / HK is around 2-3%. So what's your point again?

How does that fit with your position on the Cebu Ecozone, if you even have one. People have been saying it's good because it will make us like SG. Then others are worried that it will make housing expensive. Am I correct you are against ecozone because you think housing will become unaffordable but then several posts later you concede that most singaporeans can afford their own place? So are you in favor of the ecozone or not? Klaroha ra gud haha...
