di bya mahal tanan gigabyte bro. depende which models. the UD7 for example is cheaper than the ASUS RE 3 by almost $40. Their UD3R is also cheaper than the ASUS P68XD-E. i agree they might charge extra for the new look tho lolz.

@cyntax error: thx thats what i thought.

gal, I think it will be the i5-2500S @ 2.7 GHZ with integrated Graphics @ 850 MHZ

    or i920 for this socket?
and this one should be the i7-2600S @ 2.8 GHZ with integrated graphics @ 850 MHZ

but I think this will not appeal to you bec intel has crippled the overclocking capability.

Intel wanted to cut cost and built the clock generator on the chipset itself rather than relying on a separate chip on the motherboard. This would translate that all the busses now are tied to it and if you raise BCLK you'll also increase the speed of all other busses in the system, such as USB, SATA, PCI Express, DMI etc which will really complicate things

if you really want to unlock OC potential of these chips intel wants you to purchase the K version which has the unlock multiplier but then again overclocking with multiplier really takes out the fun

^^ yep i've read a lot about that. hopefully motherboard companies have a way around the OC locking. Intel better hope so too because if they choose this path, a lot of enthusiasts are going to just ship to AMD.
