Asus P5S-MX SE Bios Update Problem

Hi To All My Fellow Istoryans,

Im Running On OS Windows 7 Ultimate.
I Can't Update The Lastest Bios Version Of This Motherboard Using Asus Update.
The Problem Here Is That The Motherboard Can Not Detect The OS/2 Mouse Which Is Insane.
I Can Only Use The USB Mouse For A While.
My Current Version Is 0306. And I Want To Update It With 0501.


Q1: Is There Any Way I Can Update My Bios Just Using Window Mode?

either case... i dont advice updating BIOS within windows...

better use pure dos... daghan ra kaayo instances na d maayo ug mag flash within windows....

does bios 0501 the solution sa imo ps/2 mouse problem? if not, better not update bios...

if available nimo use hardware based bios flasher. dali ug stable ug sure jud. dili tong hot flashing type.

pero ok pa jud na imo ps/2 ports sir? inig flash lang dli mo gana?

@werty and minimouse: yup, mo gana man sir kay ang keyboard mo function. ang ps/2 for mouse lang gyud. mo siga ra cya.

@minimouse: ok ra man ang mga ps/2 ports inig flash. i think i need to downgrade my os to xp cguro para mo work ang mouse. coz my current is windows 7. but im still looking on other option nga mo work cya in windows 7. hopefully naa pay alternative solution regarding this problem...

i dont advice updating BIOS within windows...

I tried this once. Ni hang akong PC after! almost gave me a heart attack. swirti lang gali na dual bios akong mobo!
I told myself never update in OS again!

my solution ana kay ako ra e reset ang bios jumper. i mean clear cmos. then mo boot na ug balik. pero ang mo prompt kay cmos low battery. f1 or f2 imong options...

pero dili na cya mo prompt before ko nag update. hahayz... still looking for other options...
